Frequently Asked Questions
Do you collaborate with other medical professionals?
Yes, I enjoy working collaboratively and concurrently with a client's cognitive therapist, occupational therapist, naturopathic doctor, Safe and Sound Protocol, and more. This can oftentimes lead to deeper work across modalities.
Do you do sessions with more than one person?
Yes, I have experience with and am open to exploring parent-child sessions and other double arrangements.
Do you offer online sessions?
Sessions over Zoom are possible for some approaches, and might require an initial in-person session or retreat-style stay here at the location of my main studio. I am happy to discuss this in person with you.
Is Clay Field messy?
It can be, but the level varies by client. I provide partial or full smocks, and encourage the client to do what they need to do, holding a warm and accepting space. The clay is clean and all-natural----of the earth----and washes out with water. At completion, I help the client become clean enough to go on to whatever activity lies ahead.
What does the clay feel like?
Clay Field therapists use a blend of clay that is chosen for its smooth, grit-free quality. The goal is to get as close to the feeling of skin as possible.
